🛠️ What to Do If You Find the Same Property Listed Twice

CASAFARI works continuously to identify and merge duplicate listings from various sources. However, due to the volume of data and differences in how properties are listed across portals, duplicates can occasionally appear.

Here’s how you can help improve data quality:

Use the “Mark as Duplicate” Feature
If you identify two listings that appear to represent the same property:

  • Locate the “Mark as Duplicate” icon associated with each listing.
  • Click on the icon in both instances of the property to flag them for review.

This action notifies the CASAFARI system and our data team that a potential duplicate exists.

Why Duplicates Happen
Duplicate listings may appear due to:

  • Multiple agencies advertising the same property
  • Slight variations in the property address or description
  • Differences in how listings are published across portals

CASAFARI’s automated system uses a sophisticated algorithm to detect and merge these entries, but manual input from users is valuable for continuous improvement.

What Happens After You Report a Duplicate
Once you flag a property:

  • The listings are reviewed by CASAFARI’s data processing system by the quality assurance team.
  • If confirmed, the duplicate entries will be merged into a single listing, consolidating all available details, sources, and updates.

Help Improve Data Accuracy
By reporting duplicate properties, you contribute to:

  • Cleaner search results
  • More accurate market insights
  • Better user experience for all CASAFARI clients

Thank you for helping us maintain the integrity of CASAFARI’s real estate database. Every report brings us one step closer to a fully unified property ecosystem.
