# How to set up and apply labels?

Labels are a tool that allows you to distinguish and/or highlight groups of properties and contacts.

 

There is no limit to the amount of tags you can create. However, the first label you define for a property, is the only one that will appear on the website.

 

**Configuration**

1. Go to Configuration - Labels.

2. Click the "Add Label" button.

3\. Indicate in Type if the label will be added to Properties or Contacts.

4\. Enable the option “Display on website” so that it will appear on the agency page.

5\. Select the background colour and font.

6\. Write the name of the label and apply translations.

7\. Click Save.

 

**How to use**

**Apply labels to properties:**

1. Go to Properties - List.

2\. Select the property and access the detail.

3\. Click the + button to add labels.

**Apply labels to contacts:**

1. Go to the menu Contacts - List of Sellers and/or Buyers.

2\. Select the contact and access the details.

3\. Click on the + button to add labels.
